Ten additional attorneys at Kennedy Covington, one of the largest full service law firms in the Carolinas, were voted into the firm’s partnership in 2005. Kennedy Covington attorneys that became partners are: RICHARD K. BROWN - Brown is a member of the Financial Services Department and has been with the firm since 2001. He focuses his practice on banking and finance with an emphasis on senior syndicated credit transactions, asset-based financing, and other secured financial transactions. Brown received his law degree from Quinnipiac University/University of Bridgeport (J.D., magna cum laude, 1987). BRIAN C. COX - Cox is a member of the Financial Services Department and has been with the firm since 1998. He focuses his practice on structured finance, including mortgage-backed and asset-backed securitization and collateralized debt obligations. Cox received his law degree from the University of Virginia (J.D., 1998). MICHAEL F. KING - King is a member of the Real Estate Department and has been with the firm since 1998.
