Winnie Koivisto and Curtis Reed were named to management positions at Lake Country Power. Koivisto is manager, finance and administration for the firm. Originally hired in 1997, she has 15 years experience with finance issues and most recently served as interim manager in the position. Reed is manager, operations, overseeing engineering, construction maintenance and service, and information technology systems of the cooperative’s electrical distribution system. He’s worked at the firm since 1976. Lake Country Power provides services to more than 40,000 customers in eight counties in northeastern Minnesota. Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College Pete Moran, marketing instructor at Superior’s Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College, has retired after 32 years of service. Hired at the college in 1970, Moran also held positions as Business and Marketing Department supervisor and marketing club advisor. During his tenure, Moran was recognized as the Outstanding Technical College Marketing Educator by the Wisconsin Association of Marketing Educators in 1999 and as the Outstanding Chapter Advisor by the Wisconsin Marketing and Management Association in 1997.
