Willard P. Voorhees, counsel for the New Brunswick, Amboy and New York Steamboat Company, filed as petition in the United States District Court, in Trenton, to-day, asking that the company be adjudged bankrupt. The petition alleged that the company performed an act of insolvency on Oct. 28 last by transferring property valued at $1,000 to Ellen M. Cornell. Source : query.nytimes.com |
