Woman may be stuck with husband’s bad investments

Q. After being given early retirement at age 52 eight months ago, my husband and I found our retirement plans in the garbage. He removed all of the money from his 401(k) and from most of our accounts to “get a higher return” _ as he put it. I just found out that he gambled away the vast majority of our assets buying high-risk stocks and options, has run our credit cards to the hilt, and even put a line of credit on our home.
